I would also flag the firewall settings spil optional, if you’re not running a geth knot, there’s indeed not much need for all those settings, you could just use fail2ban if you want some reserve security, but on pool mining, your ip isn’t being broadcasted anywhere, and you’re propably also behind a Regenachtig already, so that seems like just pretty worthless reserve work.

@wlefever those specs should be slew. i have since dumped the x windows interface and am mining te multiuser text based console screens. it mines a bit quicker and uses resources much more effectively if you want to give it a attempt.
dont know if go with reference or wait a bit for aftermarket..
